Dinner with Bilha, Yifty, and Lea

Last night we had a fun evening hanging out with Bilha, Yifty, and Lea.  Lea is just a week younger than Oscar.  She is really cute!  It was great to spend time with another set of new parents.

End of Week Update

This week has been a challenging week for the Emerson Buehler Alliance.  The Stomach flu stuck Evan not once, but twice.  Jessica went back to work and then had to take a sick day to take care of the entire family.  Evan is recovering well but Jessica is starting to get symptoms.  So, let's hope it does not hit her very hard.  Meanwhile, Oscar is doing just great.  Let's hope he gets a pass on this bug.

Domestic Warrior

Today marks the first day of a 9 week  leave from work.  I'd like to not be called a stay-home-dad or Mr. Mom.  Instead, I have chosen "Domestic Warrior" as the best job title during my leave.  Oscar is not too sure about this yet...

Smiles...almost

Oscar is getting closer and closer to his first smile.  He often spontaneously smiles but more and more he is now responding to us with smiles.
