A date with Oscar

One Sunday afternoon when Oscar woke up from his nap he asked for Evan, and I said, "Your daddy is at his gig." Oscar asked, "Mommy, we go gig?" I said, "Sure."

So he clambered into his car seat and we were on our way downtown.  His first request, "I want to see a garbage truck."  It was Sunday, I explained that it was unlikely going to happen.  Then one drove by, what do I know?

Then he requested, "MORE MOLES MOMMY!"  This is a Caspar Babypants Song, he likes to listen to it over and over again, I did as directed and skipped to track 14. More Moles became the soundtrack to my dreams later that night.

We made it to the gig, Oscar was mesmerized with all the loud music, instruments and Evan playing the vibes.

We watched a set and then enjoyed a break with Evan and friends. When the set break was over we watched one more tune and made our way to the Kushibar to get some noodles. Oscar loved that too.

We went home after our little date and Oscar said he was ready for a nap.  Ahhhh! Sweet words for Mommy's ears.  Night night Oscar.
